Our Electric Building Headquarters Project
As part of a series of initiatives to promote solar energy in the community, the PUD has installed one of Snohomish County’s largest solar photovoltaic systems at its Everett headquarters. The 10-kilowatt system can produce nearly enough energy for an average PUD customer’s home.
A total of 54 photovoltaic modules are installed on the south side entryway and adjacent rooftop at the PUD office building. The system includes an interactive display in the PUD’s lobby that provides visitors with real-time and cumulative output – including daily, weekly, monthly and annual system production – for the solar panels.
Periodic tours of the system will be scheduled at the PUD’s main office in Everett throughout the year.
