Attention, builders!

This program is designed to encourage builders to include energy-efficient measures in new homes being built in Snohomish County and on Camano Island. The rebates help offset the cost of installing higher energy-efficiency features that are required to meet NW Energy Star and Built Green standards for new single-family homes. Rebates are for heat pumps, ENERGY STAR clothes washers, ENERGY STAR refrigerators and ENERGY STAR dishwashers.

The program also includes a rebate for an advanced lighting package: if 60 percent of the installed light fixtures are ENERGY STAR rated, you can receive an additional $10 per fixture (up to $150.00). Builders can also take advantage of special pricing on pin-based CFL fixtures at participating lighting showrooms (see Special CFL Fixtures).
