Temporary power outage to impact Arlington, Oso customers at midnight

Over the weekend, a power outage was caused by equipment failure in one of our PUD substations. The outage impacted approximately 10,000 customers in the East Arlington/Oso area, and though the outage was resolved, it exposed an issue with one of our high-voltage power lines.

To fix the damaged equipment, the PUD will be performing necessary emergency repair work overnight Tuesday. This work will result in a temporary outage lasting about two hours from midnight to 2 a.m.

The PUD is dedicated to providing you with reliable power, and we thank any customers impacted by this outage for their patience during this inconvenience.
